Dome Of The Rock Cake

This is my, Dome Of The Rock cake. It's a mosque a shrine located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. One of the most famous, if not the most famous mosque in the world. This was a comission.

It's a very simplified version of the mosque, in design. It's vanilla cake with fruit filling of strawberry and pineapple mixed with vanilla yogurt. Used marzipan for the eight walls and the crescent moon top. And dusted gold dust for the dome and elsewhere as well as pearl dust.
